With a budget of $150 million dollars, officially released worldwide on April 2, 2025 by Warner Bros, A Minecraft Movie is a film adaptation based on the game Minecraft by the Swedish company Mojang Studios and today we will talk a little about the incredible Soundtrack present in the film.
Containing 25 songs, the opening begins with a very exciting rock song with the song "I Feel Alive" sung by the well-known Jack Black (School of Rock, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Kung Fu Panda and other great films).
In fact, the entire film is filled with soundtracks with a good pinch of Rock'n'Roll.
Just a curiosity, released in 2011, Minecraft is considered the best-selling game of all time, with more than 300 million copies, surpassing Tetris and GTA V.
The Official Soundtrack of "A Minecraft Movie" also features a surprise (and almost unexpected) appearance by Jason Momoa on track 8, which lasts only 45 seconds. Along with Jack Black, the song Birthday Rap has a more American Groove / Soul feel with a dancing Saxophone.
After these tracks, we have all the songs led by the legendary musician Mark Mothersbaugh, none other than the co-founder, keyboardist and vocalist of the American New Wave band Devo (you may know the song "Whip It", which is part of the Official Soundtrack of the series Stranger Things).
