Launched in November 2010, it has been 15 years since the Major I marked the first release of the Major Series, which is made up of beautiful Vintage Headphones in design and which have versions ranging from the Major II, Major III, Major IV and most recently the last release on April 23, 2024, the Major V On-Ear Headphone.
As other headphones were released, the previous versions were usually discontinued by the original manufacturer to make way for their successors.
And then a question arises, is it possible to find the Original Major I Headphones today, as well as the other models in the Major series?
Unfortunately, no. Since Zound Industries discontinued these models, their original versions are becoming harder to find as stock is not replenished. On Amazon, you’ll likely see "Currently unavailable." :/
However, there is hope and a solution for this!

In other words, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manufacturers buy parts from the original manufacturer, assemble them in their factories at a lower cost and distribute them for less.
They also produce parts that are faithful to the original, with the brand's authorization, selling them wholesale to stores.
In short, an OEM product has the same qualities and features as the original product, but is produced in another country, which usually makes its price drop significantly.
Finally, you may be lucky enough to find a Major I Headphone on websites like Amazon, E-Bay and others, but you will notice that it is a used product.
